Photo Editor (Adjusting and Editing Images)

The Photo Editor module allows basic image editing: you can adjust settings like brightness and contrast, apply filters/effects, add frames, and rotate or flip the image.

The Photo Editor module is a built-in image editing tool that lets you adjust images, apply filters, add frames, and rotate/flip images. After you generate images in Image Lab or if you upload your own graphics, you can use Photo Editor to fine-tune them without leaving Lunix Studio. It’s not as complex as Photoshop, but it covers common adjustments to polish your visuals.

  • Uploading or Selecting an Image: To start editing, you’ll need an image loaded in the Photo Editor. You can click an “Upload Image” button to import an image from your computer. Alternatively, if you have an image asset in your Library (like one you generated in Image Lab or previously uploaded), there might be an option to open it directly in the Photo Editor. The interface will display the image on a canvas once loaded.

  • Adjustments Panel: On one side (often the right side) of the Photo Editor, you’ll find an Adjustments panel. Here you have sliders for various properties:

    • Brightness – Increase or decrease to make the image lighter or darker.

    • Contrast – Adjust the difference between light and dark areas.

    • Saturation – Intensify or dull the colors.

    • Hue – Shift the overall color tone of the image. Move the sliders and you’ll see the image update in real time. This helps correct any lighting issues or color imbalances in the image.

  • Filters and Effects: The Photo Editor likely includes preset Filters or Effects you can apply with one click. These could be things like grayscale (black and white), sepia tone, blur, sharpen, or other artistic filters. Simply select a filter to apply it. You might also have an Effects or Enhancements section for things like vignettes, shadows, or color overlays. This is great for giving your image a certain mood or style quickly.

  • Frames and Borders: If you want to add a border or frame to your image (useful for photos or highlighting screenshots), check the Frame options. There could be simple borders (black, white, colored) or decorative frames you can toggle on. Adjust the thickness or style as allowed by the tool.

  • Rotate and Flip: The Photo Editor provides controls to rotate the image (usually 90-degree increments, or possibly a slider for arbitrary angles) and to flip it horizontally or vertically. This is useful if your image is oriented the wrong way, or you want a mirrored version of it.

  • Resetting Changes: If at any point you don’t like the edits, there may be an option to reset adjustments back to the original image or undo certain changes step by step.

  • Download/Save Edited Image: Once you’re happy with the adjustments, you can save the edited image. If you loaded the image from the Library, saving might update that asset or create a new version. If you uploaded from your computer, you can now download the adjusted image (the interface often has a “Download” button to save the result to your PC). Lunix Studio might also keep a copy of the edited image in your Library for use in your project.

  • Use Cases for Photo Editor: After generating an image (like a logo or background) with AI, you might notice it could use a bit more contrast or a color tweak – instead of re-generating it, you can quickly do that here. Or, if you have a team logo and want to make it grayscale for a footer, the Photo Editor can handle it. It’s a convenience tool that saves you from opening a separate app for basic image edits.

Overall, Photo Editor ensures that you can generate and refine images all within Lunix Studio, maintaining a smooth workflow for creating visual assets.
