Image Lab (AI Image/Logo Generator)

The Image Lab module, where you can generate images such as logos using AI (Leonardo AI is shown here). You provide a prompt and choose style options, then generate the image.

The Image Lab module is a creative tool that lets you generate logos, images, and other graphics with AI. It integrates with AI image generation models (such as Leonardo AI) to turn your text descriptions into visuals. This is perfect for quickly creating assets like logos, icons, illustrations, or background images without needing a graphic designer.

  • How to Use Image Lab: In the Image Lab interface, you’ll see a prompt field similar to the code generator, but for images. You’ll enter a description of the image you want. For example: “A minimalist logo for a tech startup named Lunix, featuring a sleek letter L and a futuristic style” or “An abstract background image with a blue and purple gradient and circuit-like patterns”. Describe the key elements and style of the image.

  • AI Generator Selection: There may be a dropdown to select which AI image generation service to use. In many cases, Leonardo AI is used for high-quality results. If other services are available (for instance, Stable Diffusion or DALL-E if integrated), you might choose from them here. Each generator might have different strengths (Leonardo is known for creative art and logos, for example).

  • Asset Type: The interface might allow choosing an asset type – e.g., “Image”, “Logo”, “Icon”, etc. This can help tailor the generation. For instance, selecting “Logo” might prioritize simpler designs and transparent backgrounds, whereas “Image” could be a general illustration or artwork. In the screenshot example, “Asset Type: Image” is selected.

  • Style Presets: You can often choose a Style Preset or theme for the image. Common presets might include styles like “Tech”, “Cartoon”, “Photorealistic”, “Modern”, “Vintage”, etc. In our example, a preset labeled “Tech” is chosen, which could influence the AI to produce techy, modern-looking graphics. Presets are useful if you want the image to align with a certain genre or aesthetic without having to describe it in detail.

  • Size and Format Options: Image Lab allows setting the output image size. For example, you might see options like 512x512, 1024x1024, or custom dimensions. Choose a size that fits your needs (larger sizes may take a bit longer or sometimes might require a premium plan depending on the AI service). There might also be an option for a Transparent Background (especially useful for logos and icons so that the image can be overlaid on any background). If you need a PNG logo without a background, make sure to check the “Transparent Background” option if available.

  • Generate Image: After setting the prompt and options, click the “Generate Image” button. The AI will create one or several images based on your description. This may take a few seconds up to a minute depending on complexity and the AI service speed.

  • Viewing and Saving Results: The generated image(s) will appear in the interface. You can click on the thumbnails to view them larger. If you like the result, you can save it – generated images are saved to your Library under the “Assets” section for later use. If multiple variations were generated, you can pick the best one to keep.

  • Use Cases for Image Lab: Use this module whenever you need graphical content quickly. For example, if you are spinning up a demo website and need a logo or header image, simply describe it and generate it on the spot. It’s also great for creating illustrations to accompany blog posts or placeholders while designing. Keep in mind that AI images may sometimes need a few attempts to get right – you might refine your prompt or try different style presets for the best outcome. For logos in particular, simplicity in the prompt can help (you might get better results by generating an abstract symbol and then adding text manually, since AI might not always render text cleanly in images).

With Image Lab, even non-designers can produce decent-looking graphics, and designers can use it to brainstorm ideas or get a starting point to refine later.
